Fredfish Loc: Prospect CT.
 
Went to a shoreline lake this morning. Wind blowing 10, gusts to 15, forecasted 5/8 surprise! Fished 6hours,2 small pickerel, 2Largemouth 3/4-1# , quick released one 1.5-2# ( I like that QR) And got ONE worthy of a photo. 2lb 10oz,This picture is for you OZ! All fish on a Green Pumpkin Wacky Worm.

That sure is a big 2lb 10 oz catch Fred. Looks like the wind was in your favor. Nice going.

Good looking fish. Sounds like a fun day. Wind probably sucked but sometimes I think a little wind helps. It makes oxygen. It gives the surface a cover so fish aren’t as scared.

Yeah Spirit,after the "QR" on the 2pounder, I was happy this one liked the color of my boat. Obviously the 2pounder didn't.

plum that fish actually hit during about a 25 minute lull in the wind. Yeah he/she is pretty thin,all spawned out I guess.

I wonder if you mean that. I am a believer in stealth on the water and dark is my choice over bright.

I don't know Jeremy,this lake has 2 big weedbeds,and I really wanted to fish the edges. In an aluminum boat that's hard in the wind,especially when it's changing direction every 10 minutes.

That's the reason that fish "Quick Release "when they get to the boat! Didn't you know that? That's my story,and I'm sticking to it!!!
