The one in the net is from the Indiatlantic lagoon Florida. The biggie is from the Manhattan pier

The big fish is a salt water Striper and a nice one, don't really know about the one in the net

As already ID's by others here, Striped Bass and Leatherjack. Be careful with the Leatherjack, spines are very poisonous.

A second and look I believe salty dog is right it's a leatherjack they only get about a foot long.
