I received a call from my DIL who works for a diabetes Dr. that were particles of a human carcinogen found in extended release (ER) tablets of the drug METFORMIN HCL. Please check with your pharmacist before continuing this medication. Will advise further as I get more info tomorrow. Randy

Hey Randy. Thanks for letting us know. Sue takes that and she was glad to get the info. Said she would have to get in touch with Optum RX. She gets all her meds mailed to her from there through ins. Thanks brother. Let us know if you find anything else out.
Thanks Randy, I googled this medication today and found there is some class action law suit. My wife, bless her soul takes this, and the Dr just four or five months back put me on it and my A1C is within the normal range. I wasn't sure if I was reading that right or not but I am sure now thank you
