Or epoxy a fly swatter on the inside & make it a cajun fly rod. Works great on bugs & grand kids.

I also had one replaced. Had it like 10 years but they replaced it with no questions asked. Thought I would just try it and it got replaced with new one.

They were guaranteed for life. I bought my first U S when I was a kid. 65 now. Last one I bought had a 7 year warranty. And of you purchase it at BassPro you need to buy the BP Warranty if you want them to stand behind it for the seven years. In SWFL I purchase all fishing gear that is available that I use from SUNSHINE ACE HARDWARE. Had a life time warranty rod. Broke on huge fish on the gulf. Returned rod. Out of stock. Had a replacement in 24 hours. ACE is GHE place with the helpful hardware/fishing gear man!

New ones have a 7 year warranty. Old ones a life time. I would think his is a life time. Send it in or call. They might let you leep it and send a new one.

Give them a call and see what they will do for you. May be worth your while as they have a reputation to uphold.

Old ones have life time - newer ones 7 year with receipt/proof of purchase.

Call ugly stik. They’ll give you a new one. I had one for 8 years, my grandson slammed the pickup door on it and broke the tip. They sent me a new rod and told me to keep the old one. I put a new tip on the old one but it’s 4” shorter now and still works great. 8 years, hundreds of fish, only 5 different states and now I have two of the same rod. Didn’t even have to pay shipping, prove I broke it or anything.

Now I find out...closed the car window on a brand new one on the way home...didn't even think about replacing it since it was some dummies fault.
