Crappie or bass spots in NC

I’m looking for a great spot for crappie fishing or bass fishing in North Carolina triangle area. Bank or boat fishing okay. I’m just new to the area and I’m coming up short on ideas. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. I’m a Texas fish out of water ;)

Mc I am about 2 hours from you on the coast we salt water around here if you are into salt water I would be glad to help good fishing right now

I'm heading to the Lake Hickory area. I'll be shore fishing. Lake Hickory is a large lake but I don't know how far away it would be for you. I haven't caught anything in the lake but only bank fished it twice.

Mc google lakes in or near Mebane NC they are some close by lake Michael which is beautiful let us know send pics we love them

The Eno River for crappie, dont know how the bass are there, but the Jordan and Falls lakes are great bass fishing, the crappie do good there too.

I have heard Eno River. That’s about 20 minutes from me and I am going to check it out this weekend. Jordan is sketchy at best to take a boat out on. Too many trees and trash. Great Crappie though hate that I’m not comfortable fishing in my boat there. We used to use the pier but that collapsed when it flooded last month.

Lake Michael is about 0.8miles from my house. We love that lake for everything but fishing unless I’m catching blue gill for bait. Very small stocked lake with trout and catfish. Slim pickings over there but the kids love catching small ones and the trails are amazing.
