I'm surprised there was never a mention of grilling the king mackerel after basting both sides with mayonnaise or Miracle Whip! Pete
When i was in Alaska a lot of people would use mayo and herbs stuffed in the belly of salmon, wrap it in foil and put it on the grill that way, but never seen anyone around here do it with mayo. Mostly nuggets, and fried.....Calabash style.
Spanish Mac's and small Blues.......use the Texas Pete method then bread and fry......yep we like our fish fried! Might grill a swordfish steak, but ain't never grilled a Mack!
Simply soak in Itilian Dressing 12 hours and grill em! Works great on any firm fish, grilled with maybee some garlic and papricka added! Flip once for looks, dont over cook! Yum
