By BREM I assume you mean Bream, called Bluegill in our neck of the woods. Up our way they’ll eat anything tasty that will fit in their mouth! I’ve heard they get a lot bigger down there than they do here. Tiny jigs on an ultralight setup are fun, as well as dry or wet flies with the fly rod. But worms and bugs are usually best.

Where I fish they dont seem to go for lures, have watched them come near but no takes. Worms are my bait for thwm
I have recently tried these small micro craw lures. On a 1/16 oz jig ...it works for me.

Mostly live bait here in SE PA. Have caught some Bass on shallow crank baits crayfish profile.

I fish the Connecticut river up here in lower New Hampshire. Besides worms, I've caught really big Bream, Perch (White and Yellow) and Rock Bass on a H&H with a yellow and black skirt. I hope this helps.
Thanks I have used a midrange crank bait with success on Bass. But mostly with nightcrawlers.
