What is this guy. Would anything bite on it. Will it bite. Wonder if they are a market for them. How would you keep them.
Best leave it alone or kill it.

Sand worm. And any denizen of the sea will eat it.

Definitely a sandworm and yes they can nip you. Great bait for winter flounder and striped bass. With blood worms, they are the nightcrawlers of the marine world

Oh, now you are talking smart again, Bd.
Ugly little booger. Never seen one.
Kind of reminds me of a millepied.
Sandworms, they do nip if not careful, used to use them in estuaries
Berkley makes artificials and for surf perch they sometimes work better than the real thing. And they don't bite. Sandworms - forage your own (better be damn quick) or buy them at the bait shop (Berkley is cheaper). Stripers love em, also halibut. Or just about anything out there that eats other critters. Salt water nightcrawlers that bite, good description.
And Mike, I don't think they keep very well, they're salt water critters and don't do well away from that environment, although they are worms, so they're a little bit hardy. Kinda like shrimp, how do you keep shrimp alive once they're out of the ocean? You need some awful complicated and big equipment.
