Thanks G man it wasn't so hard this morning guess they were hungry I caught them on going out tide. If the rain stops I will try again I saw where the whiting were biting in Charleston last week they were huge
16 to 18 inches. Largest about 3/4 to 1 Lb. Most about 1/2 lb. Having some fried tonight.
What was the last picture of anyway? Looks like a weird fish split in half. Tail etc guts?

This my sound strange but I've never seen a shrimp head.
They're not easy to get here, easier if you live on the east or gulf coast. I know one oriental market in this area that almost always has them. I take out the meat then use the heads and shells to make shrimp stock. There is also an oriental buffet that serves them whole with heads on, deep fried. Like eatin crawdads, suck the head, pinch the tail. Kinda gross, but tasty once you get over the thought of it. Unlike snails. Shails are not just kinda gross, that are nasty., puke out your guts, I can't even put that in my mouth much less swallow it, flat out gross. I tried. Couldn't do it. I'm not picky, I can eat most anything, some things I don't like as well as others but I'll eat em if that's what there is - eggplant, squash, beets, sea urchin roe, to name a few. But snails? I'll go hungry. I don't care how good there are. Not going there.
