it’s hard to believe my youngest is turning 30 and we are just now starting to do things Like this together.

Nobody’s at fault I just spent most of those years driving for a living or farming when I wasn’t out on the road.

But without a doubt I’ll take a day like this anytime, I cant believe how fast they grow up.

Truer words were never spoken. Seems like you blink and they're grown, and then out on their own.

Lmao she’s pretty much married now. She at least found a good fella to bring home he like to fish and hunt so he’s not too bad. Besides he’s usually in the boat or wherever I’m at doing whatever I’m doing.

Sounds good. My SIL doesn't hunt or fish. Tried fishin once with me we didn't catch anything so I don't think he cared for it to much. Daughter likes it OK I guess. However, my granddaughter loves to fish.

Reminds me of a time a few years back. My SIL wanted me to take him grouse hunting. I was more than happy to oblige. Now mind you he's a dyed in the wool lad from Minneapolis. Seldom, if ever, left the city. He didn't have a license nor did he want to carry a gun. Just wanted to see what hunting was all about. It was a stunningly beautiful fall day in full color. As we were walking through the woods, I was telling him stories of my past hunting escapades. He wasn't responding so it figured he was probably bored with my stories. As I looked back, there he was, sitting on a stump a hundred yards behind me, texting on his cell phone. He never asked to go hunting after that. I guess he wasn't impressed.😂

Choosing to let them walk, is kind of like throwing them back.
