Ultra light Reel Help.
Hello all!
Just picked up my first ultra light rod and I’m looking for recommendations on a good reel to go with it in the $70 range.

Worth having a look at the Okuma Ceymar, Diawa Revros LT, Regal, or Legalis as well.

Cabela's underspin closeface triggerspin, won't break the wallet, great reel .5 to 10 .lb catfish and sheepheAd on 6.lb mono, big fish on ultralights, fun, fun, fun
I agree with fb108, Pflueger president.
Pflueger Trion or President. Both are good dependable reels. President is $50. Trion is $35. They are smooth reels with dependable drag.
I have the Pflueger president on my 7ft Ultra Lite. Handled the 24 inch 6 pound cattie just fine :-)
I use a Mitchell 308. After 50 years, I'm working on my second one.
I have 2 Mitchel 308s, one looks a little newer than the other, be cautious about the new ones, I had one, lasted almost a summer I had to junk it,it had a plastic oscillating gear and made in China!
Great little reel and very reasonable.
