Get a "Fishin'Buddy". I bought one, new in PKG, off Craigslist for $60. Probably good price on eBay or Amazon, though maybe more $$. Works for what I want,...depth. I have used for finding fish, but I ALWAYS turn off the annoying alarm.
Why would you pay minimum $ 400 up to $ 1000 for an iPhone for a ( maybe in the future ) for a fish finder? You're not a fisherrman that I'll take fishing.
