Bass appear to be still on their beds in Jupiter, FL. Does the spawn time vary with temperature? Region?
Yes has a lot to do with areas. In my area it was almost 2 months ago.

They’re just nesting now here in Idaho.

Yes, some bass spawn before the main wave, most during then and some after most have left the bed. Here on Tim's Ford you may find them on bed in Fed. and as late as April.
Seems like in the NE they are not active yet. Water temp still a little low.
The spawn has a lot to do with moon phases and the length of days. They will start spawn when the water is as low as 55 and continue in up to 70+.
Currently l, I am catching prespawn, spawning and postspawn bass here in Missouri. The water temp is currently 66 degrees.
merrimack river in methuen,MA, smallmouth have not spawned yet
In PA temp not out of the 50's. Deeper lakes it is colder

Same thing here, most lakes mid to upper 50s. It's a better time to be bank fishing now.

Didn't go today as they said rain and windy. Will head out tomorrow morning early
Well it is hot here in WV and I was wondering also if the bass are still spawning. They had the spillway part of Beech Fork Lake closed - but the main lake was open, and last year I caught 4 fish in one day. That's alot for me. If it isn't raining hard may drive out to lake one day this week and see if spillway is open yet.
