Money is a kind of Poetry, by Wallace Stevens
Money, the long green,
Cash, stash, rhino, jack,
Or just plain dough.
Chock it up, fork it over,
Shell it out, Watch it
Burn holes through pockets.
To be made of it! To have
To burn! Green backs, Double Eagles,
Megabucks and Ginnie Maes.
It greases the palms, feathers the nest,
Holds heads above water,
Makes both ends meet.
Money breeds money,
Gathers interest, compounds daily.
Always in circulation.
Money, you don't know where its been,
But you put it where your mouth is,
And it talks!

Thats what mine does to me. Good one Robert
I'm with ya ! It's eluded me most
of my life, too ! They say that money can't buy happiness; that may be true, but it sure can eliminate a lot of misery ! That's close enough for me ! C'mon, lottery ! I'd sure like to see how
the other half lives before I go !

I’m with you brother. I’ve been way better at working than I ever was as making money.
Money? I better go roll some coins so I can say I have some.

Only take a hundred to make a buck, which barely buys anything anymore.

Okay, here we go. When I was in high school you could get a dozen donuts for a buck. And then someone else says...

Did you leave some for the cops?

And coffee ?
Is it just me or has anyone else ever noticed that there is seldom EVER a cop around when you really need one ? But the day
that (for whatever reason)
they're the LAST person you'd really want to see, it seems like they just jumped out of your
trunk (or crawled out of your
butt) when you least want to
see them around !

Come on Kat, I was in high school, I was way too busy behind a self-absorbed jerk to do something thoughtful for anyone else.
