Friendship is one of life's greatest treasures

friends are there to make you laugh when you are down

I know that we are only friends via the internet
but you are each very important to this old man as his long life winds down
thank you each and every one for the laughs and the stories that go to my heart

we were too shy to say much at all
it's funny to think back to that time
because now we are having a ball

they say true friendship is rare
an adage I believe to be true
