I believe I will just use it for leader material. Braid or mono to a small swivel, then fluoro to the bait so line twist is not an issue.
I am typically not trying to muscle a catfish or lake trout off the bottom, nor trying to wrestle with a redfish, snook or striper.
OJdidit I’m sorry but that video just hit me the wrong way. This has gotten my blood pressure. I know that some can’t fish without fluorocarbon or braid, that’s fine, if they offered me their products free I’d refuse it. You have to prepare to prepare to to fish with it and then when there’s a problem you take away 50 cast trying to get your next cast ready. Now,I almost feel better.

Let it all out there MT! Get it off your shoulders! There you feel better? I felt the same way - too much trouble so I went to just using fluro for leader.
Huntm22 my blood pressure did go down. Thanks for asking. All along my problem has been that no one talks about the problems with these lines, braid included. All you hear is the praise. Mono has drawbacks, sure. Don’t get me wrong,I’m sure there is a place for braid and fluorocarbon. Just not my place!

I have a guy that fishes with me 1 day a week. We are mostly trolling. He has a problem using a down rigger and then staying on his side of the boat to bring a fish in. I’ve shown him many times how to double stack but he just plays the fish until he has three or all four lines tangled. He finally said he would just use leaded line and no down rigger. He still just let the fish swim around and tangle my lines. Its a mess trying to get my mono untangled from his leaded line. So now I usually just fish one pole and use weight to get my line down and away from his. Half the time he still crowds the Middle back of the boat and gets tangled with me. I finally told him to just go to mono and gave him a spool to put on his reels. So many fewer line problems since he switched back to mono. Gotta love fishin!
