Beautiful fish! Don't know much about catching crappie, I've caught a few while fishing for trout and bass. But I do know that they have paper thin lips. How do you manage to land a big ol gal like that and not tear the hook out? I've never caught one anywhere near that size, maybe 9 or 10 inches max.

The bigger ones I net to bring aboard, especially this time of the year when there still full of eggs we was just releasing them back So they could spawn.

Beautiful fish, got me hankering to get the kayak out and go do some crappie fishing myself. 25 in three hours, what a blast that would be.
