Sunday fishing. MAY 4 2020

Afternoon fishing got 4 largemouth bass, by 6:00 pm, went to the river we had 7 walleyes. Picture below of what I caught. 3 largemouth, 2 walleyes largemouth 5 1/2 , 4 3/4 and 3 lbs. Didn't weight the walleyes.

Nice fish you have there, Deejay, is the brown trout a stocked fish or a native.

Not sure, but i would think it would be a stocked fish. I didn't check to see if the fins had been clipped. We have caught native browns but no where near that size. There are cold mountain streams that run into the lake, so it's possible. Thanks DEEJAY

Which raises a question, if a stocked fish survives more than one season it goes wild so could it then be considered native?

Not if it was hatched in a hatchery, my opinion.
