We were trolling on Lake Ontario this morning caught 3 king salmon and 8 lake trout ,here is a picture of the biggest king and some lakers

I think that rod is just hooked up to the downrigger in the pic. Could be wrong though.

Your right downrigger we were in 50 to 70ft of water 35 down pole loded up and ready

You were catchin them in 35 feet of water? Man, in Tahoe they are hardly ever in less than 100 feet. Some down as deep as 300.
That's why I don't think they fight that hard. You start pullin them up from 100 feet or more they blow up and lose their fight.
If you caught one in 35 feet of water I bet they would put up a pretty good fight. Congrats brother. Nice fish.
If I'm ever up your way round Lake Ontario I'ma look you up and you can teach me the way you do it up there. Tight lines brother.

This time of year Ontario is cold surface temperature is 41 degrees so the fish are up top later in the summer we will be 10 miles out in 500 ft fishing 60 to 110 down if you ever get out this way definitely look me up , thanks!
