WOW bud, the possibilities are endless. I would say a lot would depend on if they are still on beds or they post spawn now. Good luck. Let me know what you come up with. Tight lines.

All of the above, I've caught more so far this year on a spinnerbait. a few on a lizar Texas rigged and a couple on top water. Spinnerbait wins the first bait fished for me this year.

I’m probably gonna go with a white spinner bait with 2 gold Colorado blades. It’s been windy for days and with heavy boat traffic the fish are skidish. Fishing waters opened the 28th and the ramps were busy.

It took me a while to get the hang of it. Been so long since I've been out and taken any pics of fish I prolly don't remember how either.

Mister Twister: I would offer to bet that you will catch the most fish with whatever lure you cast the most. Remember, keeping your line in the water is the single most important thing for catching fish. Just Sayin..RJS

RJS, I’m gonna go out on a limb and almost agree with ya. I have 2 old heddon lures that have no hooks, rusted off. Those old lures stay retired I think. As usual, your right.

MT ,I'm going out Sunday, pretty clear lake with good amount of shallow flats. I always load up 6 rods, I know too anal. Anyway I'm gonna throw : a white sexydog on my frog rod, a googan lizard on a shakyhead, a yellow and black jig with a craw trailer, a white spinnerbait with a menace trailer, a bluegill thunder kricket, and a bass colored pop-r. That's what I'm starting with, will change up as needed. Good luck.

Fredfish looks like you got all the bases covered. Some of those lures I don’t know what they are but I trust your judgment. And 6 Rods is not too many. I’d say that’s about right.

Thanks Saw, From your mouth to God's ear. No doubt I'm over due. Supposed to be sunny all weekend so maybe the water will warm up a little.

MT, that's all I can fit on the little boat without tripping over them. Hopefully a few of them get a workout!
