Just a note, I called in to Colusa County this am. Today was the day to finally open East Park Res. at noon.
They said it is being set back and they have no new date to open.
Kinda sad, waited all my life to retire here and be 1.8 miles from a really good fishery
So wait I must. My daughter and her fiancé are getting Stripers, out of the 3 rivers close to his place. That is the Sac., Feather and Yuba
I will try to post her pic.

Perfect size for eating. But over here they have to be 28” to keep. After May 15 we can keep one 24-28” if we have a bonus permit. What’s legal there, 16 or 18”?
here in NC I think it's 28 not sure
Nice looking fish Scorchy. And a happy looking fisherwoman. Thanks for sharing.

Me either Troy, maybe because we can't keep them is why we don't know. Dang it!!!!
18 in California. Nice scorchy, thanks for sharing. I'm gonna head over to the Feather one day next week and try my hand from the bank. Lot of water in there right now. Shad might even be up here, but probably better later in the month.
I agree Spirit, I want to try out my new fly set-up for the Shad , will let you know PM when my daughter and my future son-in-law gets any.

Thanks Steve, like everyone cabin fever. Mine is a touch worse, I have worked all my life to retire here and now the first spring bite is over. But there will be beer days, the good Lord willin and the creek don't rise.
She was on the sac. I believe but will ask her. I have just gone through some old fishing stories I wrote with pics, I will post a few.
Again my prayers for you and your wife, she is lucky to have a fisherperson we do understand patience
Gluck,
