Suffered a bad fall
I have a bad back in fact had fx my neck C7-7 in a horse back accident in competition had it fused but damage done and since not a puppy anymore its worse so walk with a walker and crutches . So 2 weeks ago I was down at my boat and on the dock when a moron on our lake in a wake surfer comes inside a no wake zone full bore paddles out a huge wake hits the boat and dock throws me near into the water between the boat an dock and thought it disclotated my hand and thumb . Physician heal thy self put ice on it and splints it so 2 weeks later go to the ER the r thumb is 1/2 raised like a walnut and in pain seems I tore my ligament and it took bone with it .
Supposed to go fishing tomorrow buttttttt amnd am sure the other half will have the never ending last word if u feel my pain
Good thing is I know where on the lake this guy lives and will have some words along with my as they say mouth piece with him the boat is there too. Keep my Kool u bet and a steady shooting hand

Well if it was me, I would wait until he tied up his boat and I would return the favor. Over and over,lol when he gets mad, ask him how's it feel? I had to buzz another boat last week. Not once or twice but three times. He came within 15 yards of me and thru a nice wake. Rocked my boat and a couple more So I got within 10 yards with an even bigger wake. 3 times. I think he got the point.lol.

I think many people just don't know or care that they are responsible for the wake their boat throws out, even outside no wake zones.

If he was violating the law he's left himself open for a law suit. I know some folks don't roll that way. Still, that would certainly get his attention. And if you have medical bills because of this jerk? Go see a lawyer.

find him hand him the bill ,if he refuses the bill ,mention lawyer, game warden. he might be the kind of person to help u with the bill. or a complete a$$ good luck ,hope u can fish with out pain

Any of your neighbors have security cameras, if so that could make your case. We have a lot of very inconsiderate boaters on the lake where I live. most all of them the wake boats, these guys don't think of anything except themselves and I truly believe the boats should be banned from smaller waters. Maybe suing a few of them would make insurance companies think twice about insuring them.

You should listen to Spiritof27, if you are planning to take a gun with you. That's the worst idea in the world. It will do nothing but get you in trouble. He could end up shooting you. All he needs to tell the law officers is that you came there to kill him. I was in fear of my life, look he brought a gun with him! Please think about that before you walk out that door.

I noticed an increase in "Wake Surfing " at one particular lake here last year. 25ft inboard running just below planning speed. Had to be throwing a 4ft wake, and going up and down the lake. Passing maybe 15 or 20 feet from bass fisherman or trout trollers. As if skiers and jetskis aren't bad enough. Should be banned IMO.

There’s no boating edict any more they buy a boat and they are the only ones out there actually they are just that stupid they really don’t know there doing anything wrong sometimes when you talk to them they finally understand unless they are clowns
