So I've heard that the seabream is a "clever" fish, and if it spots a hook it won't bite. My bait is usually dough or shrimps, when I am fishing with shrimps the hook sometimes appears because of how soft the shrimp is and I usually don't get a bite until I switch to bread. Now I've tested it out and it seemed somewhat correct (although I don't know for sure yet).
I don't understand why it would behave like that and how come it still bites on jigs with visible hooks?

Probably bites on Jigs with hooks as that is what it has always seen them as whereas shrimp/bait usually has no hook.
