I snapped the tip of one of my favorite rods, a Fenwick HMX, because I'm a clumsy idiot, and I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy just single pieces of multiple piece rods.

How much tip? If its only a couple inches you can buy a rod tip repair kit and just replace the end eye. Ask this clumsy idiot how I know...

Unfortunately it was probably about 9 inches and I no longer have the broken part... I'll look into a kit for the next time I break it though lol

The fist place to call would be Fenwick, right?

I actually haven't tried calling them lol. Just looked at their website and found nothing. Good suggestion.

I would call them, they did have a lifetime warrenty on their rods. I broke a very old Fenwick on a salmon, still landed the salmon, called them, sent it in, and they sent me a new HMX because they no longer made the rod that I had. They do not cover a rod broken from neglect. Otherwise, go to Mudhole.com they do have rod components but not rod tip sections for rods. Order a rod kit from them and they will tell you how to build a rod. It takes long time to build one. If you need help, contact me and I will help you.
Mud Hole rod building has everything.
See if Bass pro will repair it.
Hi, I live in Toledo, Oh. Theres a company here called Netcraft, they sell high end gear. Including rod blanks and everything for the "build it yourself" people. Look'em up on line.
Hi I live in Michigan and build rods, but I buy my stuff from MudHole.com if it is a MHX blank and a 2 piece you can just buy the top half of the rod from them because they stock all top half's of all 2 piece MHX blanks. That would make repairing the rod a lot easier and cheaper than starting over. Anyways I hope this was helpful and if you need any help on the rod find me on Facebook at( Dutch Boy Rod Co.)

Mornin' Joe, That is good to know, I didn't know that. Thank you very much! The problem is, his broken rod tip is a Fenwick, which is chestnut colored, I don't think mudhole has a chestnut colored blank, but then again he could paint one of the sections. The problem solved for you Mightbeagoat!
