I don’t think they would be pregnant, it’s too early in the year. They’re just some hefty ads fish.

True, it had eggs. Which possibly weren't fertilized yet? Don't know when they produce the eggs compared to when they spawn/ are fertilized. Is a fish considered pregnant before the eggs are fertilized? IDK. Looks like we need a fish biologist to chime in here.
I knew it was pregnant because when I cleaned her, eggs were in the belly.
