Did you keep it then go to Hog Island Oyster Co. to get some fresh oysters to go with the fillets?

Lol no I brought I back to the family and feed everyone. We go to hog island for fathers day every year and put away a couple hundred between 4 or 5 of us

I live in MA so I'm curious when the striper season is out in the bay area.

My girlfriend & I love going to SF. I could see myself living in the bay area or nothern CA but I love fishing for stripers on the Cape Cod beaches. If they have a decent season out there that would be more motivation to go out there. :)

The river run has pretty much come to an end. Surf fishing for striped bass should pick up as soon as the weather clears up.

In Fair Oaks now but spent most of my early years in SF. Fort Baker, Dillon Beach, Cronkite, and were my favorite spots to fish stripers. Biggest striper was caught at SF Beach at the end of Fleischaker Zoo (spelling...I know its wrong) on the in coming tide. Had to walk him up the stairs as the waves started rolling up the wall...32lbs! I was 13 years old and haven't seen a fish that big since!
