My son-in-law took my granddaughter, grandson, and granddaughter boyfriend down to Red Oak, OK to visit his mom and step-dad, oh yeah and fish. My granddaughter had just started fishing this summer. She is in the 9th grad and grandson is in the 7th grade. They got their about 5:30 Thurs. and by 7:00 she had caught 12 bass using a 3” black n blue worm. The other two boys had 9-10 each. My daughter and I arrived around 1:00 pm only to find out the teenagers had been fishing since 7:00 am and doing well. I started fishing out in a pontoon boat with my host. We caught a few but not as good as the teenagers. The next day we fished off and on until about 3 pm. I was tired and ready to go home. I'm had caught a few nice one's with the largest being about 3# and my total caught was about 10. My granddaughter had about 30 bass and 3 crappie on that same 3” black and blue worm...crazy! They boys count was probably about 40 each. All this was on some reclaimed land that yielded a large pond or small lake. My son-in-law and host caught about 15 each. We didn't keep anything. All these catches was on a pond that had been fished bymabout 5 men the previous weekend and they kept their bass....crazy that it could yield that many catches.
That's awesome, glad you all had fun. We sure woulda liked some pictures.lol. but a vivid imagination works well for me.😁

From an iPad, I do not see how to add pictures. Any help?
Sure sounds like your family had real blast fishing. Go out on another fishing trip, do it again
