Is there any place in North Jersey that is open to fishing.I read that most or all of the state lands are closed.any Trout streams open.I,m told to stay home but when I go to my sons I see people at a fishing hole

Don here. Reservoir are open you have to buy a pass at Newark office on echo lake road if they are open or go online streams are open for trout fishing. Good luck

All the rivers and streams outside of the parks are open. The fish & wildlife’s website has a list of all access points by county for all of the waters they stock.

I would try the Ramapo river. Area near college used to be very good for trout.

There's a well-stocked lake in the town adjoining ours, but hardly anyone is fishing it. The reason: the town has forbidden ALL on-street parking in town except 1/2 hour directly by open businesses. Gotta keep out those non-residents!
