Where is the water

All the ocean landings in CA are closed down. At least the ones I know about. I live on my boat and I am stuck at bait shop near Lake Success in central CA. Does anyone from the West coast area know of any lakes that are open? I don't want to have to take my boat off the water every night but will if there is camping near the lake.

Look into Lake Tulloch. I know that people do live over there on the water. There are larger reservoirs up here that my be open. New Hogan. New Melones. Don Pedro. You'd need to make some calls. How'd you end up at Lake Success? Sounds like there might be a story there?

I was told by a bass fishing friend that Lake Isabella Ca. is shut down to camping on the shore line and camp grounds are closed. Now remember I got this from a Bass fisherman and sometimes a 5lb is 3lbs

I was working on getting my boat ready for the ocean and Success is very close to me. Lake an camping was completely open so I went there to check out the carb etc. After being there a few days they shut the lake down and gave all us campers just a few days to leave. This closing of water ways is absolutely ridiculous. I can go shopping at Walmart but can't go out on the wide open ocean or even a nice big lake.

I KNOW ! Totally absurd. How much more isolated can you get than bein out on the water BY YOURSELF !

Rocky you have to remember what State you are in!!!
It has not made any sense for my years now. I live 1.8 miles from my lake and it is closed.
I hope you can find a good place because there is not much up here in No. California

You are so right. I have looked all y this state and nothing is open. And our terrific governor will take his time getting it back open.

I wonder how long people are going to continue to agree to living under communist rule here in the United States of America. Confining sick people is a quarantine. Confining healthy people is tyranny. I don’t go around sick people anyway, never have. I don’t go around people when I’m sick, never have. People tell me “China does it, Germany does it”. Yeah, well. We’re not China and we’re not Germany. We fought to be free and earned that right to live and support ourselves. Waiting for a stimulus check of $1200.00 is not going to do a thing but get your name on the roster. I’m not giving any volunteer information to get $1200.00 I can’t use for much. They can keep that $200.00/month for four months they want to tack onto my social security check. I’m not interested in having them deduct that much for the next 4 months to get it back. Do I trust anything the federal government offers? Not one bit. Look where we are right now by doing that. I’m out. I know they have all of my info anyway so they can figure out how to update that info on their own. I had a guy tell me, just two days ago, that every death that occurs during the Covid19 pandemic is labeled “death from Covid19”. 🤔 no wonder the numbers are so high. I’m being careful and honoring the distancing order but only because I chose to. Not because I’m ordered to do so. I respect those who are fearful but I’m not. Be smart, stay healthy and avoid the chaos. Telling people they have to just die from heart attacks, strokes, car accidents and all other issues to save covid19 sufferers is un-American. I don’t see the federal government spending extra money to save people suffering from anything other than covid19. Isn’t a human life a human life? Why all of a sudden it’s just ok to die from everything but the virus?
