No Redfish no Trout no Snook but I did hook a poor little Blue Crab with only 1 claw. I did manage to get the hook out of the joint in its only claw and checked to make sure the claw still worked. It did! So back in the water from which he came. You may have to zoom to see it well.

That crab will always be beholding to you finfisherman. One day
after he grows up he might be hanging out doing crab things and
you might fall in. He will come over look at you; recognize you and
save your life. You are a good man finfisherman.

If that crab crosses paths with the wrong fisherman he could end up in hot water

That's definitely not the crab legs I'd want. Give me the king crab legs and claws. Lots of them, the more the merrier.

Agreed. I love blue crab. But I think it is where your from for your choice of what's best to you. I love dungeness crab legs if I have butter to dip them in. Kings cost to much for me $19.99 lb. Snow, meat sticks to the inside of the shell. And I can catch my own blue crabs. Just saying

If he has one claw ,grab that claw . If they have both claws then you grab by the base of the swimmer fin and they can’t bite you. Now if you run their under Carraige they will go to sleep. A good trick for the kids.

That’s just fine for one crab at a time. However, if you happen to be in a zodiac inflatable, at night, poaching crab traps, and find yourself dumping the crab traps into the bottom of the raft, make sure to wear long pants and leather gloves.
When ya have a few dozen of those ninjas crawling around, and up your legs, at night, in a small inflatable raft, things become............interesting!🤣.
Trust me, I Know!

Brings back memorys Big dog. In my teenage years we would rob crab traps at night. Not proud of that now, but it happened. Now it is against the law to crab in a boat at night or to transport crabs in a boat at night.
