Good Morning,

Just checked their site and the emergency meeting was canceled. To be rescheduled. They were trying to get input before making the decision to stop all sport fishing. Sounds like the site crashed.

Anyway, For more info check on-line Google--- California Dept of Fish and Wildlife more info there.

Pretty sure you can fish on the delta, if you can find a place to launch. There's no where over there to launch on the rivers? I know a couple of creeks out here where you can just pull off and walk the bank, bass and bluegills. The bypass where I took the twins is wide open, I don't know how anyone could stop you from fishing, or why they would want to - it's in the middle of a bunch of rice fields and walnut groves. Until they say fishin's been cancelled, I'll find a place to fish. Note - I did not say catch. I noticed yesterday up around Coloma a couple of the river access roads were closed. But there's a park over there in Lotus with real good river access, and it was open. I know a couple of lakes that you can just pull up to bank fish or float or kayak. As I said, there are places.

Not so much over here. I can't get out right now anyway, but would like to keep tabs on where I can go when I'm able to.

Been fishing lake Isabella Ca. crappie fishing has been good from a boat with plenty of camping on the shore. Now the big but I was told by JR at Ken's in Bridgeport Ca. where I think is some of the best fishing in Calif. is that the camp grounds have been shut down by the state and county. don't know if all the ramps are closed. The bad part is will we be fined if we camp by the lake? the business in Bridgeport Ca. that live on the fishing must be in a world of S__t.

Key word. Sport. You'll be fishing so your poor family can eat. Wouldn't want them to starve to death.

No, a friend who was a sailor in USN told me the tales, from Neptune's crossing to Olongapo City to the s*** river.

Many tales.
