Needing to know if any of you have any good tips for catfishing from the bank. I'm not really interested in big river fishing as I've never been that successful.

Hi! Your best bet is fishing
on or near the bottom. Fishing is normally best in low light conditions: early morning, late afternoon, evening and after dark. Cloudy days are more productive than sunny days. Use circle hooks to avoid having fish swallow hooks.
As far as bait: I use nightcrawlers, raw shrimp, raw chicken and live or dead minnows. Cut bait also works well. There are tons of videos on I tuned and info on the internet. Hope this gets you started in the right direction. Good luck!
