This sucks I got a new kayak for fishing and I cant uses it any where in the ocean or bays fishing is closed everywhere?

It's not closed up here by Sacramento. I just went today to the south fork of the American. No problems. If you can get to the water, you can fish. A lot of the state parks, beaches, piers, private lakes are closed. But you can still fish some places. I used to fish the surf from the Imperial Beach pier north for miles. Is that closed?

Here in Washington state all fishing and shellfish harvesting is closed until May 6th with possibility of an extension.

Probably a smart idea but how can they do that? Will everyone get a refund on their fishing license? This is gonna get sticky before long.

Here in NorCal if the lake is open you can fish it. Went to Lake Amador Tuesday. Counted 25 boat trailers at the ramp. Only got one 3# bass myself. Good to get out.

I went where you went last week, South Fork American. Fished in the park in Lotus. Had a great day, just no fish. Weren't many folks fishin. Two others and they didn't catch any either. That's ok, I'll get em another day.

Yeah, I'd never been there to fish, that's probably why. But it's open. Those were sure some nice ones you pulled out.
