Ok fellas. I will be going to the mammoth lake area soon to do my yearly fishing vacation and I wanted to know if anyone has had any luck out there? I fish George, twins, saddlebags, Mary, convict, and Emory. Are they biting?

As much as the Eastern Sierra communities depend on tourism (fishing, skiing, camping etc.) they are doing what they can to quell the usual influx of visitors this year in an effort to slow the spreading of the COVID-19 virus.
The following excerpt is from the April 1st edition of the Mammoth Times: "The Mono County Board of Supervisors, the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the Mono County Public Health Officer and Sheriff this week asked the state to delay Fishing Opener in Mono County in order to prevent more out of area people arriving in the county."
I don't know how or even if the State's responded yet so you'll want to make some calls before leaving. Based on the list of places you fish, you might want to consider Crowley and Lake Sabrina if you haven't already. I lived in Bishop for years and have caught several quality trout in both. I do good there on the opener but is it going to happen in the mammoth lakes area for the 2020 season my trip is cancelled because of virus is there any good info on what is going on there this year.
