Can't take credit for either of these; just looking forward to
my chance at catching one !
Top photo (black T-shirt); this
beauty weighed in at 4.23 lbs.!
The one the youngster in the
white sweatshirt is holding (2nd photo) is a Gila trout (Arizona native species); it weighed in
at a whopping 5.12 lbs.! Both
were caught at Goldwater Lake
in Prescott, Az.; the Gila trout is
truly exceptional, as Gila and Apache trout were nearly on
the brink of extinction back in
the '90s ! Thanks to the great
work by the naturalists,
breeders and hatchery workers
here in Arizona, they've both
made a fantastic comeback !
Nice job guys. And nice job fish and game people.

For sure. Ground news paper with red dye is awesome over fresh fish and healthier for ya too. đ

Got that right, McDonald's can keep their trashy food, give me fresh fish anytime
I release 9 out of ten trout I catch, but there is nothing as good as frying up an ice large brook trout.
Nice catches! Thanks for the pics...
They taste the same, I thinkđ
The second one held by the white shirt looks like an old spawned out salmon, color wise?
