Try to learn that there is more to LIFE than workin. What are you workin AT and why do you feel the need to do it all the time?

DB: if you apply that same drive, dedication and ambition to fishing, you could become a Professional [guide or fisherman]; then you could make money, work your arse off and still fish. Just a thought.

Sounds like a plan to me. Just go fishing with this in mind, If I don't catch fish I don't pay the rent. That will make it work. Enjoy, A good guide is a good teacher and a great story teller (entertainer)

DB, work will be there tomorrow but a decent fishing day in regards to the weather no guarantees.

Work when you must, fish when you can, enjoy what little time we have on this planet.

Welcome to Forum, Ed. Shift gears focus on fishing, it forces you to relax. Once this CV-19 is beat, find a neighbor or a buddy that does fish enlist his help. Fishermen love to help others, usually.

As I've said before. "Work is for people that don't know how to fish."

You're right, I was raised on a farm in Iowa and that is all we knew was how to work. Rarely did I get to go fishing and it was with my grandpa and an old cane pole and caught lots of catfish and bluegill but never got to really fish until we moved to Arizona and I got hooked on stream fishing for trout and caught lots every time we fished and thought that is the way it was for everyone.
