Have any of you used a jig or spinner bait instead of a weight at the end of you drop shot rig?

It works bottom fishing in salt water, don't see why it wouldn't in fresh. Just be careful of regs controlling number of hooks on one line.

Yes. Used it many times in freshwater. Works well. Usually I have either 2- 1/16 oz jigs. Or 1/16 on bottom. With a 1/32 up higher
