Is that open below Hwy 49? I believe that is what it use to be. I've caught a lot of fish between there and Lotus. Where were you fishin? I have rafted that river a few times and always wanted to fish all along the lower section above Folsom Lake.

When we use to raft the river we would put in for the lower section at Lotus.
I use to fish right there at lotus and catch rainbows in the 20inch range just driftin night crawlers. Would have to fish between the rafts comin down the river. It was awesome. Last time I fished there was 20+ years ago.

Lived here over 20 years and I've never fished Coloma. In fact til you mentioned it saw, I'd never even heard of Lotus. Guess where I'm headed once the weather clears. Gonna do a little 'splorin.
