Up here, most of the crappie are still 25 to 35 feet deep. I've been doing well with a small dark green iridescent plastic shad with a 1/8 internal jig head trolled six feet behind a 1 oz banana sinker on four pound fluorocarbon at 1.2 mph. Also did well trolling a small copper spoon the same. Going to try with slip bobbers, the plastic shads, crappie kickers, and worms(all with a powerbait nibblet), Friday. Use a nibblet, trolling, on whatever I use.

Yep, and they're a year throughout deal. Smallmouth bass are just starting up here, also, along with steelhead and chinook. Lots of planter trout, too. I need to get out for salmon, but I'm having too much fun chasing crappie.

I saw the first picture and wondered where the dog was, then I scrolled down and saw her.
Some 20 years or so ago I was down to one dog, Rosie. She was a Great fishing partner.😍
