I couldn't agree more. Mine only goes bout 35mph, but I'm smilein while I'm doin it.

Hey Gary, be sure to take it easy for awhile when you first take the new boat out. Try to break in your new motor right. I'll bet that sucker is gonna fly when you finally open her up.

I saw a t-shirt about 40 years ago which said “Don’t let your HP exceed your IQ”
I took it as good advice and have honored that since.

That is so true. Younger years wasn't happy unless wide open with my hair or fire. More sense now. Not a lot more but some.

I guess it’s a good thing I’ve only got a twenty hp motor on my little aluminum boat!!! I’ll never get to know the joy of anything over 50 hp, I guess.

I might be pushing it with my 40HP tiller on my 17’ Smokercraft, but it gets me back to the launch or dock when a storm is building.

I had a Raytheon depth finder which told me I could get up to 31mph which seems to be plenty. I don’t tournament fish, so I can live with that.
