BlackBerry, Blueberry, Apple and all with ice cream. I think I died and went to heaven !!! Don't forget Strawberry/Rhubarb pie (my dad's favorite). I know, it sounds gross. But it is really good. I think any grocery store with a bakery can make them. Of course it's not homemade.

Strawberry/Rhubarb, but better yet is Strawberry/Rhubarb/Pineapple! And something that I think is awesome, Huckleberry!

Talking about Ice cream, I distinctly remember when in the Navy in 1950's, seems like every time we had pie or cobbler, they had Chocolate or Strawberry, but no vanilla ice cream!

I didn't think about adding pineapple. I've never had Huckleberry pie. What are they and do they really taste good? Can you describe the taste?

Huckleberry, some call a wild blueberry but there is no comparison in taste because Huckleberries has so much more flavor. Blueberries are bland in comparison. People pay a lot for those from commercial pickers. I picked mine up in the WA state Cascade mountains. More work to pick them since not nearly as big so takes much longer to fill your gallon pail.

We get the Huckleberry jam at Costco in Montana and give some to our neighbors.
In town you can get Huckleberry pie, candy, and a whole lot of other stuff.

That pie looks good.

I ask my wife for strawberry rhubarb pie for my birthday instead of a cake.
She won't eat it but the grandkids like it and so does our daughter-in-law.
She makes a small cake for her and our son. Their loss.

I'm going to have to find a new place to buy it since Marie Callender's went out of business. When I find a new place I'll see if they will add the pineapple.
