Hello everyone! Is there anyone here from Utah by chance? I haven't done a ton of fishing for 10 years now since I had my son, but my husband and I used to go all the time. Now my son has fishing fever and he is so lucky! He caught 3 huge fish just this last year, bigger than I have ever caught. So I am hoping to do more fishing now, and we are hoping to get him on the streams, we just have to find some that don't have a strong current. Anyways, I am hoping to learn some new things here and find other's who might be from Utah and familiar with any good bodies of water to fish!
Welcome to the forum. There's a couple of guys that keep a chart with locations that will tell who and where. If you fill in your location in your profile it might speed things up a bit.
Where at in Utah? That's a big state. Welcome to the forum. We love photos.
Thanks for the info - I will definitely update my profile!

I’m from the Ogden area but mainly fish from a boat - they just put a mandatory stay at home order in Summit County and that is usually the area I fish. Keep chatting on here. This virus and lockdown too will pass. I have been fishing the Salmon Idaho area for steelhead and they just put a stay at home order out up there so I guess I will start fishing nearer home now. Have to get the boat out and de-winterized. The Weber River has been producing some great browns the past couple weeks according to my neighbor. Flow has risen as they are releasing water from the reservoir now.
Up North, I live exactly 1/2 mile north of the causeway out to Antelope Island. The city I live in is Syracuse.
Where do you usually fish from your boat?

Usually fish Jordanelle and East Canyon. I’m retired so fish during the week and leave the weekends to the crazies that try to ‘wake’ the fishing boats. When summer comes i fish early mornings and also fish Lost Creek where there is no wake anyplace on the water.
