I've had much better luck with their stuff and I feel that their lures flat out catch better than other top name brands, would love to have a conversation with someone who feel differently.

Sure the googan baits catch fish, each one of their lures is ripped off an original lure that catches fish. The googan baits are a joke in terms of individual design or development. Googan baits are a fad that I hope fades out quick they just take away from those ahead of them that worked hard.

Yeah, there are several companies right now using youtube as a platform, and I've seen 3 in particular that seem to be using the same manufacturer with slight trade dress changes. It's all the same stuff at the end of the day, plastic from one of a dozen manufacturers buckets. It is just a marketing strategy.

I don't like the googans so I simply don't buy their stuff, or watch their videos. For some reason, people get a little agitated when someone says "they are literally strike king", but it's true. Their baits use the Rage Tail patent from Steve Parks, so their action is identical to a rage bug, craw, etc. To me there is no point in buying googan baits when the SK ones are the same exact thing. I don't care about durability or price, I'm here to catch fish. I've caught thousands upon thousands of fish on Strike King Rodents over the past decade or so, so why change?

Its just a brand name thing. Theyre not really special. A bit too pricey compared to similar products. But hey its all about what you have confidence in so if it works for you keep at it man.

I’ve tried the kraken craw and the rattlin neds, didn’t like the kraken craws had good action but were durable at all. The ned rig I love. Haven’t/probably won’t buy anything but I got a jerk bait in a MTB box.

A lot of people may not like them personally either. But you can’t deny they are getting younger people into fishing. It was Jon b videos that got me to pick a rod up again after 10 years

Newb here, my 1st post in fact Lol. I personally like the Googan lures, I live in Houston so the Bandito big is a favorite of mine, right now the seem to be liking the color Alabama Crawl. I also agree with the poster that said they are a SK rip off, I also fish the Strike Kings, both catch me bass!

I have some googan baits and use the soft plastics from time to time but they are all stuff that my wife bought for me. I watched a video on YouTube a while back where a guy did a full comparison between 6th sence lures ( which I use regularly and a big fan of) and googan lures and they were almost identical. Some of them were identical even is size, weight, number of balls in rattling lures, everything accept the coloring. The biggest thing about that is 6th sence came out years before googan did so there is speculation of them stealing the design of 6th sence lures and passing it as their own. So I use the soft plastics from time to time while I have them but I will not spend my money on the lures. But that's just my opinion.
