I can feel that all the way to Alpine ca. Worked with table and radial and skill saws and other things in construction for over 45 years and was lucky enough not to get cut by them. Worked with one guy who cut part of his thumb off, but he took too many chances and not use the guards or push sticks when he should have. If I ever saw one of my employees doing anything the wrong way they would get a lecture from me. Worst thing I ever did was shot two fingers together with a T nailer and shot a narrow crown staple that stuck into my cheekbone just below my eye, always wear safety glasses. Saws usually cut things off not just a bad cut. You can never be safe enough around power tools. Larry W.

Vert lucky. I had a finger go into a table saw, the push stick slipped and Ouch about 3/4 in. up through the
finger nail. After the hospital trip my finger was a saw-blade thinner that it was beforel.
Break out the peroxide.

What were you doing, cleaning a fish? It might need a stitch. If there any clinics, hospitals, or vet. clinics open. Is your wife, daughter, son, anyone in the immediate family a nurse. How about the neighbors, any one of them an EMT. Oh, he!!, use some duct tape on it. Really, you should have a stitch in it.

Worked with another guy in 1969 who was trimming the side a garage door laying on the ground with a skilsaw with the guard held up and he hit 16d nail and pulled the saw back while saw still running and right over his new boot and his foot, the first thing he said was my new boot!!! Went to the doctor to get foot fixed and the shoe shop to get the boot stitched up. I always called him ding a ling. He was a few bricks short of a load.

I was cutting short stock. Fortunately I had set the blade just above the height of the wood or it could have been a lot worse.

We must be brothers FD. Some time ago I called in sick to do some projects around the house. Wife had just left and I fired up the table saw to rip some stuff. Just like you except my middle 3 fingers. Blade just up about a 1/4" enough to open the fingers up.

Shook my hand up and down out of instinct, blood going all over the place. Looked at my hand and said this is going to hurt. Called the wife and said you need to come home, NOW.

I new I called in sick for a reason.

Ouch, bet that got your attention. Stitches probably better than electrical tape, I've used that before.

Stiches? A real man would have used his staple gun and kept going. LOL
