My wife got out of surgery a little while ago and the Dr said it was as bad or worse than they expected to see. The humerus bone was shattered into 6 or 7 different pieces. However, he was able to put them all back together and put a big plate along the bone. He then repaired the ball and rotator cuff the best he could, so now it's just a waiting game to see how she heals up. Looks like they are goin to try to release her tomorrow to get her out and away from the hospital as soon as possible. Thanks everbody for all your prayers and thoughts. They really mean a lot. Steve.

Glad your wife is doing ok. I know you'll have a sleepless night or two, it just goes with our hurting for someone we love. You've got the prayers of a bunch of us. Hang in there.

Glad the Doc was able to help her out as best he could. The body has amazing healing powers, but you have to help her remain patient as those pieces have to bond together. Best of luck to you both and we’ll pray for a speedy recovery. Get some rest as you both have a long way to go as she will needs lots of help.
