Hey guys and gals. Today my wife and I went an hour north of us to the DMV so I could renew my DL. Got that taken care of early so we were goin to go to Costco. I let my wife out by the door cause it was rainin(yea finally). Parked the car and went in. As I got inside, there was a person layin on the floor face down whimperin in pain. As I was passin by I stopped and looked closer and it was my wife. She had just gotten inside onto the concrete floor and slipped on some water. She fell forward and landed on her left shoulder.
Guys, it's bad. Ambo took her to the hospital where they took x rays and a CT scan. Surgeon said it couldn't be worse. It shattered the ball in the shoulder, tore her rotator cuff off, and splintered her humerus bone so bad they aren't able to do a shoulder replacement. That leaves 2 options, 1 is to do nothing and she looses all function in that arm basically. 2 is to do surgery and piece it back together like humpty dumpty. Best he says is maybe get 50% mobility back, but no guarantees. Bout a 4 hour surgery he thinks.
So I know some of y'all aren't religious but there are a lot of y'all that are. She'll be havein it done tomorrow afternoon. So PLEASE keep her in prayer for a successful surgery and for tha skill of the Surgeon. I am still so thankful that the fall just did the damage it did and not any more as she hit her head also a little when she fell. So no other damage to head, neck, back or hip. So thank you Lord for that. Won't be fishin for a while. I'll try to keep y'all posted on the situation. Thank Y'all SO much.

Just returned from Israel so don’t know if she’s already had the surgery, but we’ll pray for a complete and rapid. Can you mention her name?

Saw, as my wife and I await her MRI results from her fall in October I gringe at the details of your wife. Glad that you were there with her and that she is getting immediate help for it. Our prayers go out to both of you for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Also that you are able to visit her in the hospital. Not much of that being allowed. I was asked / told to leave yesterday while the wife was getting her MRI.

Stay strong Saw, those fish will only grow while waiting for you.

Terrible news Saw, will definitely keep her in my prayers. The things they can do now are amazing, though. She is going to need a lot of love and care as she will not be able to do many of things she normally could without help. PT will be crucial after the healing process and the swelling has subsided. Good luck and God bless you both.
