The virus has actually caused Cherokee to cancel the open season trout tournment, and on top of that the tribal council is considering stopping trout fishing all together. Man this is getting to be crazy thinking.

That's a shame, this is a bad deal for everyone but if it keeps one person from dying of the virus it won't be for nothing.

This is so crazy, what does stopping fishing do, I didn't know fish had contracted the virus. We can thank the fake media and the dumbocraps for the panic and chaos going on right now. We live in a strange world. Back over 60 years ago we would be outside finding things to do, now its electronics and walking around like emus looking at phones and almost getting run over or causing accidents. Time to wake up people and get back to basics.

I had an email from my daughter in Australia, she is a police officer and told me its the same over there, people are panic buying and the stores are running out of stock on essentials. Their schools are closing and businesses too.

I will go fishing on my own in isolation. But in the northeast restaurants, schools, gyms , and just about any other public venue are closed . Hopefully history won’t record this with the Spanish flu but I thing it will be much worse. I am in the high risk bracket and I will do what I can. We are going to be living with this for an extended period. It sucks.

This reminds me of the 1912 Spanish flu,hundreds dying,people freaking out,people,towns & countries being isolated.Mass media hype to make people panic more. I am going to invest my money into stock on milk,bread,eggs,hand sanitizer,and on ya 🚽 toilet paper!

1919 Spanish Flu post World War I and yes it infected some 500 million people ( 25% of the population at that time) of which some 17 to 40 million died. Just ask the Italians if this is just some stupid virus. Our testing has been so inadequate we don’t know our infection rate. For those of you fortunate enough to live in rural areas with out much contact you have a pretty good chance of surviving. For the rest of us, I can’t buy food and I dare not mingle. I am in the high 65 plus risk group. I don’t have a son our daughter who can go the store for me. Every day I take a risk as the infection rate increases exponentially. I agree the irrational panic buying is bad to the point I can’t buy meat, much in the way of produce, or just about any other grocery. But the virus is real and our government has been inept. And my 401k has dropped nearly 35 percent in value. Guess I won’t be retiring next year.

Just goes to show today's society, panic over anything. If everyone sat back and thought about what they need and be responsible we wouldn't have empty shelves. Price of fuel is way down, $1.79 where I live. Even with the stock exchange, if they weren't so greedy they could ride it out and would come back up.
