Crappie attact

Out fishing in N Tx area south of Ft Worth

Not a lot of crappie but the size was incredible. Theme from South Florida never seen property that size caught one today it was over 12 inches white like a monster in lost two more in the brush I hope Spring settles in it will even get better I also found out caught more on artificial‘s when I Did online bake been working a lot felt good to get out and catch a few fish

Ok. Could not get pics left my phone at home. Fishing the ft worth area. I have to work all next week can’t wait to get back out

Welcome to the forum.

Marinate some of your plastics in garlic see if that helps.

How do you marinate it? oil...just garlic...butter...smashed?

I try to use minced garlic from the dollar store.

Put the plastic in a container and the minced garlic put it in the fridge.

Probably work faster if ya have a vacum sealer.

But if you just want to test a few an old pill bottle that will fit in your pocket and some garlic would do the trick.

That one has been in the freezer needs to be thawed and new garlic and stirred.

Me neither. It's the rainy season in SoCal so finding good days is tough. This time of year it rains off and on almost every day. I've love to fish for Bass and Stripers at Silverwood Lake because it's not far for me. But, I just took six reals in for cleaning and repair, but have not got them back yet. I finally got my VA discounted fishing license and waiting for my State Park Pass. I'm rarin' to go.

Got out early tonight then bite was on I caught 22 crappie 1 over 12 inches the other's about 5 or 6 inches. couldn't believe there was only the one big one lol. But I had a blast. I was using two poles an could barely keep up
