Well I tried out my new Ugly Stik Catfish pole this evening. I put a old Penn reel on it. It casted Great. Can't wait to see what it does when I hook into a Catfish. My wife and I didn't get anything, but it was Great to be back on the water.

Yes sir Spirit of 27, my wife and I got the lines wet for about 1.5-2 hours. No bite or nibbles, I think the water may still be to cold for Catfish. But like I said, it was Great to be back at Creek bank Fishing.
