Corona virus and old fishers

I read mostly fishing stuff from old guys. I hope all of you realize the increased susceptibility o f all of us to corona virus because of our age. Please stay out of crowded places and stay home if possible. The fish will still be there when this is over.

I agree. Some are down playing the danger. It is a very contagious problem. Some say it’s like the flu. Yes it’s contagious like the flu so very easily transmitted but then you can easily die.
Wildfires get put out sometimes early. Other times wind and other elements effect the results. People need to take the advice of those that tell you to be careful not the ( not so smart ) people that just say no big deal. The flu kills people. Yeah well the flu wasn’t spread from an anteater that was stolen in Asia before it was cremated to contain the virus. It’s a delicacy that costs a few hundred bucks a pound. Now it’s spreading like a wildfire.
Pangolin is a nearly extinct anteater that can develop the Coronavirus and was being experimented with when it was stolen now in short period of time it’s spreading. A few days ago I heard 80,000 had it. Yesterday I heard 87000 had it. It’s not the flu.

Scary stuff. At least fishing in the great outdoors removes us from exposure to this disease

I think your pretty safe out there compared to many other places. I think a cure could be about 2 years away. It probably depends on if some trillionaire gets it.

You are right about that, then even if they came up with a cure regular people couldn't afford the dose.
I'll just hole up at the lake nobody around here much, I can go for days and never see a soul.

yea, I think you would be safer out in the open air - kind of fishing away from others. Just wash hands good when you get home, and don't put hands on your face, at least all the doctors are saying "wash up".

Normal for Rednecks is correct once or twice a week, that is if they have a shower.
The normal people tend to have dry skin if they shower every day, especially women.
